We all dread the thought of a water leak in our home.
Water damage accounts for a lot of our plastering work such as these two jobs that we recently completed for insurance companies following water damage to ceilings.
In the first job we had to patch and repair a ceiling ceiling due to water leak from the flat above.
The work comprised cutting out the damaged plasterboard, fitting new battons to hold the new ceiling and support the old. New 12.5mm plaster board was fitted and skimmed flat to match existing.
Final re-decoration is to be completed by the client.

The images below are of another insurance job due to a water leak at a property in Worthing.
The water damaged the bay window area resulting in the ceiling needing re-boarding and the bay window area to be skimmed.
Due to the poor condition of the walls in general the customer also opted to have the rest of the walls plastered.
